Bar Dough

Surprised that the best gluten free pizza in my experience was tasted at an airport restaurant. Oh Dough, you may be crowded and slightly understaffed, but that pizza lives in my memories!

Vibes are spot on, as are the drinks. In my one visit, many guests were happy with their meals. Service was positive albeit scarce - no issue, it’s an airport after all. However: avoid the charcuterie - it’s like a Philly gas station cold cut sandwich without the bread. These were chunky 1/8” slabs of deli meat, not the translucent-thin delicacy I expected spending $55 on a drink, an app, and a water. Sliced turkey instead of cheese? I realize it’s a meat charcuterie, but really? The giardineria addition is a choice - fine, but imo anything solid (like an almond, or an olive) would be preferred over a pickled jalapeño condiment. If you’re going this far with the animal-style sammie-on-a-board concept, why not drizzle on some scratch-made ketchup and gourmet beer mustard too? Really though, please add cheese to this monstrous plate of meat dubbed a “charcuterie”. The gluten free bread has a heavenly texture but little flavor (to be expected of GF bread, no fault of theirs), and honestly that flavorless flat bread was the best thing of the meal. I will still probably return since literally everything else on the menu looks better than what I got.
