Bar Pigalle

Came here with my family (group of 7) while visiting from Chicago to celebrate Christmas. We all had the chefs tasting menu, which was coursed and timed perfectly for a nice break between courses- nothing was rushed, a really nice experience. Cocktails were fantastic too! All in, this was probably my favorite restaurant experience of the year. This place competes with some of the best! Most memorable were the baked scallop, boeuf tartare, roasted carrot salad with foie gras, and smoked salmon deviled eggs. Go for the food, ambience, and friendly service. Dessert was good, but didn’t compare to the rest of the meal. We had the flourless chocolate cake. That said, anything more elaborate probably would have been too rich and heavy following an already amazing meal! I’d like to thank the team for going above and beyond with accommodating my sister’s gluten allergy, bringing amazing substitutes or even altering dishes to ensure all of us had a memorable experience.
