Bar Restaurante Comomelocomo

We ate at Comomelocomo today, a restaurant within the FACE (Spanish Federation of Celiac Associations) network, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing and potentially dangerous experience, especially regarding allergies and intolerances. I have celiac disease, and the menu contains absolutely no information about allergens. I asked what I could eat, and surprisingly, they told me "practically everything," when in reality, they don't guarantee the safety of any dish. It's particularly concerning that they are part of FACE, but the last visible certification is from 2024, so we don't know if they've had any inspections this year or not. To make matters worse, my father is allergic to stone fruits and nuts, and a walnut appeared in a sirloin steak with cheese tapa—which didn't list any allergens on the menu. This is especially serious because it can cause a severe reaction. Furthermore, they don't have an allergen menu, which is required by law. Between the lack of information, poor communication, and inadequate attention to customers with dietary needs, we left with the feeling that they don't take food safety seriously. A place we won't be returning to, and one we would honestly recommend avoiding if you have any kind of allergy or intolerance.

Everything was perfect, except they advertise gluten- and lactose-free food, but then it's not... on request, yes. The service, food, and attention were excellent. Recommended.
