Barbuzzo

The online menu lured us into Philly’s Barbuzzo mediterranean kitchen & bar on Fri. Aug. 8th. We saddled up to the bar during happy hour and were pleasantly greeted by the bartender, Mike, who took the absolute best care of us, along with the other supporting staff members, for the next couple of hours. Mike effortlessly modified food and drink items to be gluten free. Through every plate and course of dinner, and every cocktail, we were superbly surprised at the rich flavor and tastiness (don’t miss the whipped ricotta starter!). This fantastic restaurant has been added to our must repeat list.

Had the beat salad and octopus at the bar. Service was fantastic. Bartender was attentive and helpful and knew which items were gluten free. Looking forward to going back!
