Barcelona Wine Bar

4.5 Stars. Came in, party of 3, no res, was immediately seated at the bar, which was great. Both staff members working the bar were super friendly. Someone in my party was GF and the bartender took the time to mark off every item that contained gluten or had a gluten free option, which I thought was going really above and beyond. The tapas were definitely the standouts here. We got the patatas bravas, cauliflower, and croquetas. Everything arrived quickly; the cauliflower was bright and acidic, and the croquetas were very rich, but not heavy; I could easily have eaten a dozen of them! We also got the paella mariscos and a pitcher of red sangria. The paella was very solid, although I've had better recently for a lower price. The sangria was good, but a little on the sweet side for my preferences. I also tried the valencian gintonic, which was refreshing, but on the week side (tbf I spend a lot of time in gay bars, so the average person would likely be fine). Overall a great experience, I would definitely go back just to try more of their tapas.

Max was an amazing server! I waited tables for years, and I know a good one when I see one. He marked up an entire menu, so that I could find with ease my dairy-free and gluten-free options. And he made us feel like we were the only table he was waiting on. A very special treat for our anniversary!

Love this restaurant. They do a great job handling allergies, lots of gluten free options!! The bacon wrapped dates are my absolute favorite!
