Bardills Garden Centre

Very poor experience. No gluten free options and poor service.

Garden Centre has a good range of plants, garden ornaments, and gifts. However, becareful when at the cafe, if you have allergies, staff use the same tongs for touching gluten-free cakes, cakes with nuts, and vegan cakes. When telling a staff member, she got defensive and denied, even though we had just witnessed it. She then said they had just had other tongs and went looking for them in the kitchen and draws behind the stand. She even asked another staff member, and we heard them both making remarks. They did get different tongs and used these to get the cakes for us. The cakes were lovely, but the experience made us feel uncomfortable.
