It's a good place to eat. The service is typically great. The food and drinks are what they should be. I would classify this as a new-school Greek diner. A very casual, inexpensive, sit-down restaurant with a huge variety on the menu to suit a wide variety of tastes. We have many similar restaurants in the northeast. Some of my family members have celiac (gluten allergy) and Bernie's has done a great job both with preparation as well as variety. I have one complaint: my gyro platter only had 3 kalamata olives on it! Μαλακίες!

This place exceeded expectations. They not only had a gluten free menu, they had extensive knowledge of celiac and how sensitive people are. They marked our fries with an allergy alert sticker. When our chips came out with queso instead of guacamole we didn't say anything and didn't mind. When our server came back and saw that they brought queso instead of guacamole without us even saying anything he said hey I'm going to go get your guacamole. Our server , Aiden, checked on us multiple times and refilled drinks without asking. Absolutely amazing service. And if all of this wasn't enough, the food is really really good.

A wide variety of menu items, they can cater to food allergies (such as gluten free), fast and friendly staff. If you eat here, come early- parking is a premium during rush hours. I highly recommend this restaurant.
