My wife and I celebrated our 3 year anniversary here last night and had a wonderful time. Chelsea was our server and she did a fantastic job despite the understaffed conditions she was working under (bartending, serving, running food, bussing tables, she was a 1 person crew but did a great job) My wife enjoyed the cioppino and I had the salmon filet which was cooked perfectly and was fall-apart tender! They were also very helpful in navigating our gluten and dairy intolerances for both meals. Chelsea made us some great cocktails as well! The only reason for leaving 4 stars out of 5 is because we feel there should've been more service staff instead of having one person run the whole front of house.

If I could give a half star, I would. I’ve never given a negative review at any establishment, so this is a first. Being in the service industry for 10 years, I have never given or received service this bad. My best friend & I came here, it took 20 minutes just to be greeted by someone. She ordered a raspberry sour type drink, which had more egg whites & citrus than it did liquor, was also shaken with ice instead of dry shaken like it should have been (with any egg white cocktail). She also has many allergies, including being celiac (Gluten Free due to medical reasons, not choice). She order the Beef Carpaccio which came with crostini bread, which was not stated on the menu. The server put it down in front of us & I stated that information again for my friend to save her from her body acting up. The server then took the crostini pieces off & said “There ya go!” Which I stated that even contact or crumbs could affect her. Took it away for a min then came back with the same plate most likely. We could not get out of there quick enough… this is the last bar I would want to go to in Salem again. We went to Archive Coffee bar afterward & it was phenomenal!! Go there over this place. Better food & better cocktails.
