I was super excited to try this cereal bar. It is close to Lionel groulx metro. The place it self had a row of bar seats in different areas, booths and tables with seating available. The menu did have a lot of options to choose from and was especially accomadting for gluten free, vegan and non-lactose options/substitutes. The items are a bit pricey and the non lactose substitutes being +$1.00 additional charge. The food itself wasn't mind blowing but decent. The house pancakes were average. They had a pretty dense texture although, I expected it to be fluffy. My friends matcha pancakes were less dense. There wasn't much people but the service could have been improved as we had to flag down our waiter to order.

We went here because of the listed items that were marked as gluten free or vegan. Unfortunately the menu does not specify that substitutions or combinations cannot be done. Example: the GF pancakes cannot be made with dairy-free milk. What made the entire experience frustrating was the lack of customer service. No attempt was made to try to accomodate for our dietary restrictions. In fact, the waitress (who seemed to be the manager) asked us if we wanted to add meat options to our selection, after having just mentioned that we don't eat meat. Upon sitting down, no one came to greet us or ask if we had questions about the menu, take our choices down or later, ask if we are enjoying our food. It felt like they were giving us excuses and not try to earn their tips. I cannot recommend this restaurant.
