Visited today for lunch, the atmosphere was peaceful and friendly. The soup was gluten free and I have to say probably the best soup I’ve ever tasted. My husband had an all day breakfast burrito, which he thought was wonderful as well as the coffee. It was great to be able to get a fruit tea as well. Tempted as we were with the cakes, we were too full. The young lady who served us was an absolute marvel, friendly, informative and nothing too much trouble, despite being very busy. Brown sugar would be a bonus for coffee though. We are not from Hull and visited especially for lunch at Barley’s and will definitely be making a return visit. Thank you.

Great coffee, lovely food and excellent cakes - try the chocolate truffle cake if you can! (It's gluten-free!) Friendly and knowledgeable staff too - will definitely be coming back ☺️
