In these uncertain Covid "shadow lockdown" times, you could forgive a few issues here and there with a lunch dining experience, but there were none. The venue is both quaint and chic, the menu varied and enticing, the prices competitive, and the service informal but absolutely top shelf. The ales and wines were also superb. To add to this, one of our group was coeliac, and not only was the menu already very attuned to this, but the waiting staff's knowledge of the gluten free dishes and options was outstanding. Oh, and did I mention the sticky date pudding (seriously one of, if not the, best ever!). Thank you for such a wonderful experience!
