Barnaby's Cafe

Barnaby’s serves plenty of items that are naturally gluten-free, like steak and salads but apparently can’t be bothered to prepare them safely for people with medical gluten allergies. I asked if they could simply wipe down the stove before cooking my food to avoid cross-contamination, and they flat-out refused. To make it worse, the manager was condescending and dismissive, as if my allergy was an inconvenience rather than a serious health concern. If you have any kind of food allergy, don’t bother coming here, your health and dignity aren’t worth their smug attitude.

Great spot!! Super friendly atmosphere, our server was excellent, we tried exactly what she recommended and loved it! Delicious gluten-free options too. We had the fatoush salad, the bacon cheeseburger on gluten-free bun and the Rice Krispie treat and homemade cookies for dessert. Definitely a highlight of our trip 😃
