Barney's Restaurant

We went to Barney’s yesterday for Mother’s Day luncheon, and we had a really lovely experience. The service was wonderful, very kind and gracious. They found us a quiet table despite the busy day, and the food was delicious. We had the duck and the lamb, which were both excellent. My only critique is that there was no gluten-free bread or crackers to go with the paté they were serving with the four course prefix meal. I feel like at this point in time most restaurants have some crackers or something on hand. Despite this one thing, we will certainly go back. The atmosphere is quaint and charming, which is very hard to find Long Island these days.

Love coming to Barney’s. I have a gluten and dairy allergy and the chef is always able to accommodate me. The meat is always cooked perfectly. Sitting by the fireplace is super cozy but the entire layout feels like dining at home with the best chefs and staff taking care of you.
