Barolo Italian Bar & Kitchen

Visited this restaurant last night. I want to give this a 5 star however, I’m giving it 4 stars because it took about 15 mins for our drinks to arrive after we ordered them - bear in mind that it wasn’t super busy so slightly disappointed by the slow service. As a waitress myself, I appreciate when drinks come out fast as it really sets a nice atmosphere for the night. The music was also too loud, and slightly off-putting as it was difficult to hear everyone outside of the music playing. Apart from that, the food was delicious and they very accommodating to gluten free dietary requirements as they had a separate gluten-free menu with plenty of amazing options. I didn’t catch their name, but our server was lovely. They were super attentive and very friendly. Would come back again :)

We had two lovely meals here on our trip to Glasgow. I’m gluten free and my husband is not, and we both left happy. The waiter was courteous and knowledgeable both nights and the spritz and whiskey selections suited us both. I had Pasta Arriabiata and my husband had pizzas, and I had minestrone to hold me over. If you’re gluten free or have allergies, they have a dedicated menu. The only downside is that the GF bread seemed store bought.
