Graciously invited to my business lunch at a high table, I sampled from generous portions of a vegan and gluten free plate. I'll spill the beans on my meal. Scandalously delectable asparagus, crispy sauteed mushrooms, swoon-worthy eggplant, spring garden green beans, a Kaleidescope of olives in EVOO, including Bella di Cerignola and the melt-in-your-mouth broccoli rabe. My hostess complimented my meal with imported Parmesan (yes, from Parma, Italy) slices sweet as candy. Their newest restaurant endeavor, the Barillas opened Insatiable Eats at a time many restaurants were closing during the pandemic. Let's keep this local gem in business.
