Ordered a gluten-free pizza, and when my husband brought it home, I questioned whether it was actually gluten-free. The texture was too chewy, and spongy for something without gluten. I called and was assured by the woman I spoke with that it was gluten-free, and she even asked if I’d like to hear the ingredients. I replied that I had a severe gluten allergy, but if she assured me that this crust was gluten-free, I would be fine. However, I was not! I had a terrible gluten exposure reaction, akin to food poisoning. I wish people took this type of things seriously.
