Battery Park Book Exchange & Champagne Bar

Strolled into other lands through books, decor, music, and beautiful dessert and tea. Live gypsy jazz was playing round the corner as my friend and I enjoyed browsing books for a while. Though she and I already had met for coffee, this atmosphere enticed us to linger. So, we asked the host for seats, and our dining experience was equally incredible! I enjoyed a gluten free, key lime cheesecake, which came ornately decorated in edible pearls and raspberry drizzle. My friend's peanut butter pie was dressed in sprinkles and sparkles, and our tea was beautifully blue in color (naturally from a flower), and was the best mint tea I have had!

This was such a fun place. The book exchange has some good variety, though the sci-fi section was really small. We enjoyed some champagne flights and had an amazing gluten free sandwich. Would recommend to anyone traveling through Asheville.
