Bavarian Chef

We had a fantastic dinner, and our server was great! It was totally worth the drive. Celiac hubby didn't get sick from any gluten or contamination. He ate the leftovers for 3 days!

The food is amazing here. I'm a celiac and it's hard to find gluten free German food. About half of the menu is. The pretzels looked amazing. Wish I could have tried them! The wait staff is attentive and the gentleman that artistically sets the table like he's in the circus was fun to watch.

The atmosphere of this place was exactly as expected. The decor, the waitstaff outfits, and the portion sizes were all on point! Sadly, it ends there. The seating is far to cramped we might as well have been sitting with the tables on either side of us. The service was slow, maybe they were short staffed, but, we hardly saw our server and she was very quick about her visits. The food portions were huge... Great value for the money, but the Weiner Snitzel was overcooked, very tough, and lacked any distinct flovr profile. The pork shank special was decent, but again lacked any robust flavor. In all, we were disappointed and likely won't return. They did have a decent gluten free menu though!
