Baxter's Interurban Grill

Went with a group of 8 during a conference. They had one waitress but she was amazing! She was swamped with large groups due to the conference but the food and service was amazing. I had the New Orleans Style Orange Roughy as the menu describes it as A tender filet of roughy dusted with Cajun seasonings and pan seared topped with chipotle aioli. Served over rice pilaf and sautéed asparagus. It did not indicate is as Gluten free but after consulting with the chef I was assured that is was unless I was hyper sensitive and even mayonnaise would be an issue for me. ( in my case it is not) The orange roughy was superb! Everyone who dined with me was very impressed with their food choices as well. Be aware the close from 2-4 daily

Tonight we had family in town and Baxter’s Interurban Grill was next to their hotel. We walked over and sat at the patio. They were allowed to bring their 2 dogs, also! We didn’t realize we were there 15 minutes before they closed but they told us to come on in. We had the best server. She was so personable and made sure that my Mom and I could eat here despite having food allergies. The food was delicious and reasonably priced! We had a wonderful time catching up! The owner even came out and chatted with us for a while! If you have a gluten intolerance or dairy allergies, you can eat here!
