Bay Leaf Modern Indian Cuisine & Bar - 5 Points

We have been to dozens and dozens of Indian restaurants, but this one was a stand out. The atmosphere is very modern, and decorated beautifully for the Christmas holidays. The drinks were the best surprise. There were Indian-fusion versions of classics like old fashions and cosmos. Also, the menu was very clear about which items met dietary restrictions such as daily, gluten, and peanuts. As someone who can't eat gluten, that was very welcome. The waiter was very patient and gave us time to review the extensive menu. The bartender was experimenting with some new drinks he tried on us as well. Food was top notch and service was very friendly. We'll back for sure! Probably tomorrow :-)

We have a celiac level gluten free preference. Bay Leaf had many gluten free options that are TRULY GLUTEN FREE (and NOT gluten "friendly" while claiming to be gluten free). The staff were very knowledgeable and took great care. The restaurant also had other allergy friendly options such as a peanut free and dairy free items. So glad to see to see an Indian restaurant that takes allergy preferences very seriously.
