Bayou la Roux

Stopped through Troy on my way to the beach for Memorial Day weekend. Incredible service and food. Food had great flavors and the staff was not only friendly but knowledgeable on gluten free options.

Amazing all around. We tried several items- red beans and rice, ribeye, baked potatoe, burger, coleslaw, swamp fries, and a slice of cheesecake. Cajun meets American style... in my opinion anyways. All the food had a wonderful flavor profile. Best burger we have had in the area. Ribeye was blackened and cooked to perfection. Their swamp fries had a shredded beef on top that was TO DIE FOR. I only wish it had more beef. (We had leftovers at the end of the night, so thats me just obsessed with the flavor) Price point was fantastic. Waitress' were amazing and accommodating. I have been staying away from gluten so getting to eat stuff other than salad in a restaurant was awesome. We also tried a couple drinks from the bar. Served in beautiful glassware made the drinks even better. Stellar. We will be back.
