Beach House Waterfront Restaurant

This is only my second time here but I have to say it is delightful. I have quite a few food allergies and our amazing waitress, Brenda, ensured everything I ordered was free of gluten and dairy. This place is such a beautiful restaurant right on the gulf. We previously went to the Kokonut Hut and were ignored standing at the bar for 25 min. The bartender even looked at us several times but never helped. We were so happy to come across the Beach House. Excellent food, service, and views! We will definitely return when we come back to AMI for vacation. My husband had the lobster ravioli (covered with garlic and crab) and the delicious key lime pie. I had the prime rib and it was huge but delicious. Brenda ensured our wine and water were filled constantly.

The food was disappointing. I asked the waitress if they had a gluten free menu, she said any of the dishes could be made gluten free ( that set an alarm off right there) . Playing it safe I ordered the chicken tacos and reminded her it was to be gf. The order arrived with chicken, no seasoning to speak of, on three separate leaves of lettuce?!? Have they no corn tortillas? This was a first! Typically when I order the waitstaff will check with the kitchen and return with a description of any alternatives that will be made with the order. This was not the case. Very disappointing with the waitstaff and kitchen. I had ordered chicken tacos , not a bland chicken salad. I will not return to the Beach House.

Just left June 21st, 2023 and wow, such amazing food! I’m visiting family from Texas. I’m recently diagnosed Celiacs and can only eat Gluten Free. I enjoyed the Gluten Free Options here that were absolutely refreshing to see and taste! I had the Lobster and Crab Napoleon. Highly recommend! Thank you for offering Gluten Free!
