Extremely overpriced pub. At least they were kind enough to give you a paper stating that they will charge a mandatory 20% (which is also taxed) on top of your bill and you can tip on top of that if you want.
Food:
We had a wagyu burger and gluten free pizza. The wagyu burger was admittedly pretty good, fries were not, and the pizza was disgusting. I would be embarrassed to ever serve anyone a pizza for almost $30 that looked like this. They probably sprinkled on about $1 worth of cheese, pineapple and ham that barely made it to the edge of the crust.
Service:
Of course when you mandate an automatic 20% minimum tip for the server, as you can expect they had no reason to actually provide better service. I had to wait several minutes to get our waitress attention as she was too busy watching TV. When we could call her over she seemed bored or irritated and kept pushing us to order more drinks, more drinks, are you sure? Ugh.
One and done with this place. I get we all want to make more money but people also want to work less and give you less in the process. Basically just pay me lots of money because I'm alive! Well I'm sure the people who want to eat out aren't wealthy either and it's sad because it seems they would rather have an empty pub ripping off a few then actually filling it up by taking a smaller fair profit from many happy customers. Oh how times have changed.
Bumped to 2 stars for the burger. Then again, it was about as expensive as Ascend Prime Steak and Sushi in Bellevue which at least you get service and ambiance.
