Pleasant area overlooking a pond & woodland. The Priory ruins sits amidst farmland with sheep, lambs & we saw a couple mistlethrush birds. Sadly the cafe experience was not so great we had decaf coffee which was very wishy washy (weak) & the Gluten free brownie was a little stodgy. Choice of seating in or out & we chose outside because the cafe is very small. It was a little windy even on a warm sunny day, needed an extra layer (always be prepared!) Overall wouldn't go again

Beautiful scenery and delicious and very reasonably priced afternoon tea. Vegetarian and gluten-free options too. I would definitely recommend.
