Oh my god, Beckett's is my new favourite restaurant. I went for dinner last week with my partner and cousin and it was the most beautiful experience. The atmosphere was immaculate and had the most fab moody/mysterious energy without being pretentious. The food was beyond incredible. We ordered starters, sides, mains, desserts, I think a drink or two, and we were all stuffed by the end. Some other reviews are complaining about the portion sizes or prices, and I'll say this; the food is clearly incredibly well sourced and seasonal/fresh (the oysters that are only available 6 weeks of the year for example) plus you are experiencing preparation and cooking at its finest. Clearly the chefs here are creative and skilled, and we are there to experience their creativity, their art: their food. You aren't getting a pub meal (which still slaps btw), you are getting food and drinks that are, in my opinion, elite. I'm 1000% going back and I would highly recommend coming here for a beautiful dining experience. Thanks, Kat D. PS: I can't eat gluten and was completely catered for - I had zero reactions after. That's a mass win for us gf free peeps right there.
