Beckta Dining & Wine

It was my anniversary. I emailed several top restaurants in the city. I had 5 criteria. I chose Beckta because of their quick and thorough response to my inquiry/criteria. I was not disappointed in my chose. We had a 5 course blind tasting omnivore menu (excluding dessert, of course) with wine pairing, and all gluten free, as requested. We had tuna, scallops, boar and duck. What a great selection by the Chef. The ambiance was great. Exactly what I was looking for with plush seats (old school). I look forward to returning.

It was absolutely amazing! I took my wife and friends here to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Service was awesome from the moment we walked in the door. We had our own private little room. My wife is celiac and they made slight alterations in order to accommodate her. Four of us had the tasting menu. It was wonderful, one of the 5 items was sweetbreads, none of us had ever had them before. Our waitress described how they would be cooked and told us her own experience, we trusted her, we were not disappointed. In fact all of us said that it was our favourite dish. The waitress was super knowledgeable and provide us a tour of the wines. We could not be more pleased with our evening. My guests thanked me for making this a choice and inviting them along. Honestly I can’t say enough.
