Beers & Barrels - Utrecht Veilinghaven

We had a lovely meal at Beers & Barrels – the food was really good and the atmosphere was cosy but not comparable to that of the old canal. However, there were also a few disappointments. I had contacted them in advance via email about my daughter’s gluten allergy. She was really looking forward to finally trying a gluten-free burger. The email confirmed that this was possible, but unfortunately this turned out not to be the case upon arrival. She was therefore quite disappointed. In addition, we had to wait a very long time for the desserts. It took so long that we eventually cancelled them and left without dessert. Too bad, because the start of the evening was promising. Hopefully, there will be better communication and faster service in the future.

My favorite restaurant in the world. They effortlessly provide mouthwatering dishes for my entire family (two meat eaters, one gluten-free, one lactose intolerant, so not an easy group to cater for).
