Not the experience we hoped for. We visited Bella Italia today and were a bit disappointed. I had the gluten-free pasta bolognese, which was £15 – the portion felt quite small and the sauce was minimal, so I left still feeling hungry. My 9-year-old son had the larger size pizza from the kids menu and was still hungry afterwards too. Luckily the dessert included distracted him. Staff were friendly and doing their best, but it seemed like they were a short-staffed, which affected the overall service. It’s a shame as this used to be one of our regular spots before Covid – we always had great meals and service back then. While the £1 kids’ meal offer is a great incentive, unfortunately the overall quality didn’t quite live up to what we remember. Hoping things improve as we’d love to enjoy coming back again in the future.
