Bells of Peover

We chosen the Bells of Peover as our wedding venue as we celebrated a very intimate wedding with some close family and friends. Tracy was wonderful helping us with everything, and It wasn't an easy thing to do as we live abroad, even so she managed to make all the arrangements really easy for us. The food was stunning and the staff was great. I'm gluten free and I knew I could rely on the chef, he made sure that all my food was free from gluten and that I could eat everything on the menu. The day was just perfect.

Dreadful !!! Abusive staff and very impolite unprofessional management.will never come here again as they discriminate against children with food allergies We were told as a family to leave the pub because we asked if the chef knew about gluten free options as our son has coeliac disease and can become very unwell if he eats wheat or gluten we are extremely paranoid in restaurants as it’s a disease that causes him great distress and he can become unwell rapidly if we aren’t overly cautious . As parents we have a right to question anything when it comes to our children this escalated as you can imagine into an argument and then a threat of police being called it’s horrible to be treated in this manner for simply being vigilant over something than can really compromise our child’s health . Very disappointing experience. Will be warning our friends and family of how poorly we were treated after travelling 30 miles to eat there
