Benihana - Anchorage

We had a great time at Benihana yesterday. Our server Morgan did an excellent job. My husband being gluten free, Morgan was extremely accommodating to make sure there wasn’t any contamination. All of our food was prepared perfectly and was delicious. Thanks Morgan for a great dinner.

Benihana's is a wonderful place for any family/big occasion you may have. The "table show" is fun and always worth a clip or two. On my recent visit we had 2 birthdays, 1 anniversary and 2 men celebrating a belated Father's Day. Our server was Vik (Vic?) and she was totally awesome! Fast, friendly, and attentive! She really took care of us (big table of 8) and was taking care of several other tables - but her service was FAST! She really worked her booty off... I gave her a little $omething separate from the usual. Our chef was Tiffany and while she said she was kinda shy, she was FUN! She had groaner/Dad jokes, and her skills at cooking were excellent! Everything was perfectly cooked and she was fast. We also had someone with a gluten free meal and she took the time and care to make sure it was free of gluten and cooked it all separately. We had 2 b-days, so we got the Japanese AND English versions of "Happy Birthday," which was super nice. ;) (And the sorbet was sooo smooth and yummy!) The manager was also kind and made sure that we were happy with our experience. The only drawback here (for me) is how noisy it is. Some tables were REALLY loud... but to be expected I suppose. With 8 people it made it hard to have any conversation because we were spread out - not Beni's fault. Overall, my usual EXCELLENT experience here! Would recommend 100%
