Our meal here was delightful. We had the veggie platter and added a lamb dish. I ordered the gluten free injeera and it was definitely worth it. When I come back to New York I will eat at Benyam. The food and service could not have been better. The place is clean but not fancy. It is basically my kind of restaurant with great food and an unpretentious atmosphere.

Tasty food with a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. LOVE that you can get gluten free injera here, although I suggest calling ahead to make sure it will be available. Currently, they require logging your name in a book, masks while not eating, and temp checks. Outdoor seating and indoor seating with clear plastic dividers available. Friendly staff and good service speed. Would definitely go back again.
