⭐️⭐️ Two Stars I had high hopes for Berkeley’s given the strong Google reviews, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to the hype. The food was pretty subpar, especially considering the prices. I ordered a gluten-free option, which I understand can be tricky, but the bread was clearly old, dry, and completely fell apart. It also lacked cheese, sauce, or much flavor — and they did charge extra for the gluten-free option. The staff was kind and the space itself is cute with some great fans (literally and figuratively), but the lunch menu is limited and overall, both my friend and I left underwhelmed. Definitely not what we were expecting.

Best value is beat salad with shrimp or chicken for gluten free folks. A reviewer earlier misstook fly chaser with a poor functioning fan (too funny) The ambiance musically is 1970 to 80s. All good. AC is inop, but the air was moving and I actually get tired of cold air blasting at me, so that was all good too.
