Bertolone's Classic Italian Restaurant

We stop here a lot whenever we go to or through Calera. The food is always excellent and the staff is friendly and takes care of our needs. They also have gluten-free options which is a big plus for me.

I made reservations for 8 online, and when we got there, they told us the online reservations didn't work. That being said, they did get us a table quickly, and the rest of the service was very good. The food was good. I had to order gluten-free and was thankful items were available and clearly marked in the menu. Our knowledgeable waitress advised me that the vegetable loaded pizza would not work well on the very thin gluten-free crust. I switched to the pasta, and it was very good! A couple at the table shared a pizza, and a couple shared a calazone, which was huge! The others had ravioli. All were highly satisfied with their food. The accompanying salads were big and loaded. I would definitely recommend it!. I took off a star only because the online reservations would be nice. We lucked out that it wasn't that busy, but if it had been busy, we might have had to wait a lot longer for a table.
