Very popular and welcoming Ethiopian restaurant in DSS -- tasty food at very reasonable prices! For vegetarians/health conscious foodies, recommend the shareable Vegetarian Combo Platter incl. misir wot, kik alicha, atakalit wot, and shiro wot. Plus they have gluten-free injera.

We ordered a vegetarian combo. They said they didn’t have the injera which usually comes complimentary with the meal and gave us the option to order the gluten free injera for an extra 3$. Since they informed us at the time of placing the order , this was not the part that bothered me. They brought us someone else’s order ( kocho) and instead of an apology , they actually charged it on our cheque. When I asked for the cheque , they got the ipad and showed me the total. If I hadn’t bothered to ask for the itemized receipt , I wouldn’t have caught it. Once I pointed out the mistake , the server took it off but again she was very nonchalant and unapologetic. The fact that there were only two tables being served and 3 servers made this inexcusable. It wasn’t that they were busy or had too much going on. It was plain careless and worse still , unapologetic. I still tipped her the usual 20% because I hate to hurt anyone monetarily . However I wouldn’t return again since there are 2 much better Ethiopian restaurants ( Lucy and Rohobot ) very close who actually care about their customers .
