Understaffed and not used to catering for multiple customers. Seating was about 1/4 full and we were told they'd "had a big rush". They were out of the soup. Stood in line for a glass of wine for about 20 minutes, the server was really nice, but really slow, I had to point to what a Malbec was on his screen because he was under 19 and didn't know (his words). The young server also told me he didn't want to pour the wine because he didn't know what he was doing, not a problem, I'm on vacation I'm happy, he was super sweet. He asked a blonde coworker to help him. She threw up her hands and said "I'M ON BREAK!" Then she went on break.
Five minutes later I'm stood to the side waiting for my glass of wine, my partner comes up and asks what is taking so long, I explain that the young server can't pour my drink so I'm waiting for someone else. Blonde lady on break feels the need to interject and YELL at me from across the room (her break consists of eavesdropping) "MA'AM, HE'S UNDERAGE SO LEGALLY HE CANNOT SERVE YOU!!"
I'm like, "okay?". Still not a big deal, and she gave me zero additional information. Just that rude attitude. Shame, because the rest of the staff are fantastic, and I've been to this particular BB numerous times (stayed at the hotel and cabins plenty of times). But yeah, blonde lady with nose piercings was not pleasant.
Oh and she shouted sarcastically at the young server when I asked him which dressing was gluten free. He didn't know, so he asked her, she barked at him, "If it's on the list it's gluten free!" While rolling her eyes. The list just says "dressings" and wasn't specific so I was checking, you know, because of medical reasons.
TLDR: Staff and food great. Blonde lady with nose piercings, rude.
