Met friends here for a drink at the bar and then dinner reservations. My Old Fashioned was excellent. Four cocktails for $44 was not too bad considering the absurd mark-up on alcohol when dining out, and given the fact we have paid $44 for two drinks at other places. Live band kicked in just as we were finishing drinks, which was good because they were LOUD. Good, but too loud for conversation in the relatively small bar / band space. Dinner was fantastic. Everyone loved their food, and Katie (along with Big Phil in the back) did an amazing job working around all the food issues (e.g. Celiac, black pepper allergy) at our table. Our friend loved his brisket and said the mac and cheese was the best he ever tasted. My wife loved her burger. Our other friend thought the salmon was excellent. I really enjoyed my crab cakes béarnaise. We had no room for dessert, which was unfortunate because I heard they are amazing and made by Big Phil's mother from scratch. Next time! We split the check, so with two glasses of wine and tip, our total for two was $91 and a steal for that meal. We were sat in a booth literally as far from the band as we could get, and that was a good thing so we talk without yelling, but still hear the music which was entertaining. Unfortunately, I forgot to take photos to post here.
