Bill's Place Pizza

Bill's place was surprisingly delightful! When my friend suggested we meet there for lunch I expected your run of the mill pizza joint. But the menu was extensive! I chose a shrimp salad and was amazed at how big the shrimp were and how many of them graced the salad. It was delicious and I got two meals off of it! I was so happy to find a delicious gluten-free dessert on the menu. We caught up on our lives for two hours and thoroughly enjoyed it. I will definitely go back.

I have been having Bills since I was a child and always loved it. I moved away for 10 years and came back to RI two years ago with a new food allergy (gluten). Luckily, Bills has some gluten free options, and I’d argue that they have the best gluten free grinders in the State. Their gf pizza isn’t that great (based on taste I’m assuming it’s Udis brand) but my kids are obsessed with their normal pizza, and my wife is a huge fan of their chicken parm dinner. The drinks are to die for, especially if you catch them during Pistachio season. It’s been almost 30 years eating from there and I hope we get to enjoy another 30+ more.

small portions with mediocre taste. very pricey. nothing else around so the neighborhood flocks here. I got a small gluten-free vegetable pizza which was like a large cracker dry and thin. the other two patrons got a large square pizza with vegetables which was sparse on the toppings and the other one got a hamburger pizza which was glopped with cheese to hide the real toppings. haven't been here in several years so this was my first time back and last. not impressed. the service was decent. Here it is Memorial Day weekend and the outside patio was closed typical Rhode Island backwards mentality leave it up to the patrons to decide if they want to go out.
