Nice place with a great view of the water. The food was good (a tad bit pricey) and the service was good, also. My wife has celiac and they were very accommodating. Enjoyed our meal and the views!

Billy’s Stone Crab Restaurant—Tierra Verde, FL The restaurant is located on the upscale Tierra Verde island area. The service, however, is anything but upscale. Our initial waitress was rude and appeared annoyed when asked what they might provide on the menu for those diners needing a gluten-free entree; there any number of individuals who deal with Celiac Disease or any number of food allergies. It’s hard to believe that any restaurant in the year 2022 would be so dismissive of such a wide swath of the population requiring adjustments to the typical eating menu. Due to the sheer noise level of the restaurant, the waitress did ask if we would like to sit in another area, which was thoughtful. We were waited on by an immature, loud-mouthed waitress, who proceeded to ignore us once the drinks and bread were provided. We waited patiently for well over an hour for our food, which never arrived. When the waitress was questioned, she went on that they were busy and had a wedding party, yada, yada, yada., never offering to provide an appetizer or a drink on the house for the delay. It turned out to be an altogether unpleasant experience, and we decided to up and leave the restaurant , if we expected to catch dinner anywhere else. The family seated at the table next to us knew how long we had waited and commented on the rude response from our waitress. When experiencing hunger pangs and wanting quality service from mature, experienced, and pleasant restaurant staff, avoid Billy’s Stone Crab Restaurant and save your self a couple hours by deciding to eat at any of the additional restaurants serving the Tierra Verde-St, Pete area.
