Bimini Bait Shack

Great Atmosphere view. Food was marginal. I was not allowed to sub even though I can’t have gluten and then they put gluten on my plate which I accidentally ate a bite of. So I did get less food for the price cause of my gluten allergy

After a day at the beach in Sanibel, my husband called the restaurant to make sure they can serve plates for people who have celiac disease. They said they could accommodate to it. We got there, they had a gluten-free menu and I also mentioned it to the server that I have celiac disease and that I could get really sick if my food was even contaminated with any trace of gluten. She seemed to understand and everything. Later when it came, there was a biscuit right in top of my food. I couldn’t eat anything and it was disappointing because I had made everything clear and I understand things may happen, but they should be more careful because there are others, like me, where being gluten-free is not an option, it’s a prescription. It was especially frustrating since I had made everything so clear from the get-go.
