This is the first time we've tried it. So, we're always hesitant about trying new places, because my hubs is Celiac and I'm gluten intolerant. The guy at the counter was super friendly, and understood what we were trying to avoid.I was very disappointed that they did away with their dedicated fryer, because that meant we couldn't have French fries, since they fry all the breaded items in the same fryer. We ordered 2 Steel Cities on gluten free buns. They were very tasty. The burger comes with bacon and grilled onions.
Now here's the issue. I'm not sure if they are aware of cross contamination, and clean off the grill after every use. My hubs ended up feeling nauseated and had some stomach issues within hours of eating there. We're not sure if it was cross contamination from the grill or if the grilled onions had something on them that contained gluten. I did notice they tasted like they had been seasoned. Bacon is not usually an issue. Unfortunately, this means no more trips for us to Bingo Burger. My bad for not questioning the seasoning, something we have to do with everything we consume. My suggestion to them would be to make sure you are switching gloves and clearing the grill, plus become educated about hidden ingredients. It has been very hard to find a burger place in Pueblo we can trust with our limited diet.
