Bintü Atelier. African inspired cuisine

We really loved our meal, and I’m kicking myself for waiting a year to try this place. We started with the grilled chicken wings, which were incredible - my wife said the best wings she’s ever tasted. The juices (soursop for me and pineapple ginger for her) were also delicious. She had the fried snapper and I had Egusi, again both delicious and really well executed. She’s gluten free and the fried fish was really lightly breaded with Fonio (I think that was it), which is GF. My Egusi felt like an ancestor to shrimp and grits and gumbo. Never had it but was like comfort food to me. Then the ice cream - DO NOT PASS THIS UP!!! Hers was dairy free (Pineapple Pistachio) and mine wasn’t Soursop Mango? Both had unbelievable flavor and texture - with a perfect little crunchy crumble on top. They could make a fortune just selling this ice cream.
