Bird Bakery

The cupcakes are pretty good, rarely they can be a little dense/dry but they are almost always great! I reccomend the red velvet, lemon, and soft pink extra! The quiche and almond cake are outstanding. For a bakery they have lots of gluten free options. Not just some cupackes, but brownies, monster cookies and almond cake? Wow! It is pricey but I'd say it is worth it. Make sure to call ahead to see what gluten free is available if you want gluten free.

Bird Bakery did an incredible job with a smash cake for my daughter’s first birthday. The whole process was great- from choosing the size, flavors, and decorations. Laura helped capture my vision and made the whole process feel so special. The cake turned out so so beautiful- better than I could have imagined AND it tasted so delicious. Their cupcakes are also amazing. We got a dozen for her party and they were a hit. Lots of flavors to choose from and they even have gluten free options. Lastly, the staff is always kind and inviting! Shout out to Eileen who did a fabulous job decorating 💗🪲

Recently diagnosed with gluten allergy, so I've been searching high and low for gluten-free pastries. Well, I finally found the place that satisfies my sweet cravings. The gluten-free options here are so delicious. It's hard finding yummy, soft pastries that are gluten-free, but they've done it. I've tried the coconut chocolate cupcake, the salted caramel cupcake, and the strawberry cupcake (and no, not all at once, lol), and they made me very happy. I will visit every trip I make to San Antonio.
