Amazing food, drinks and service! Wednesday night date night is the best at Mariposa. I'm gluten free and I can basically order anything I want. The choices are top notch. Our server Dave was attentive, informative and delightful. Will come back again and again.

What a great find in Blackhawk! This is a hidden gem located at Monarch casino. We have eaten at so many places up there however this is the first time we all enjoyed every single thing we ordered. The quality of the drinks and food was fabulous and the service was spot on. Chris was our server and he was great at having fun with us as well as answering our questions. Highly recommend the lobster tacos and the short ribs. Our only complaint is that for the prices they should serve one side dish with the entree and they need to be more aware of allergies as we had a celiac person who had a reaction because we didn't know the chips were fried in the same fryer as other wheat items u til he ate a chip and had a reaction. They take reservations although I don't know that they are marketing this gem as well as they should. Maybe they should think about offering a coupon for an app to get people in the door!
