I spent the day in Kingston for a tattoo. I’m unfamiliar with the area and I have a number of dietary requirements (GF, Low FODMAP, etc.) and getting takeaway food can be tough. I went to Bittersweet Cafe as I saw they had gluten free options and asked for a gluten free burger but leave off the onions as they are a FODMAP I react to. I didn’t even mention that it was an allergy and yet the server went and checked that the patty didn’t contain onion, which it did and he informed me and I was able to order something else. This level of service isn’t the norm unfortunately but it is so very much appreciated!!! I ended up ordering a bacon and egg roll instead which was absolutely delicious.
