BjornBar Bakery - Edgemont Village

If you're in Edgemont and looking for a unique sweet treat, I would highly recommend dropping by BjornBar Bakery! I'm gluten-free, so my favourite would be the Edgemont Bar. Trust me if you're in a rush and need a hostess gift, or something sweet for a party, drop in and get a box of sweet perfection to go! You'll be a big hit!

Super cozy café and bakery with plenty of baked goodies options. Gave a star for the atmosphere (not a lot of seating but the whole vibe in there is amazing, and its beautiful, almost industrial looking set up!), another for having an extensive soup menu (we're talking like 8 or 9 options, with the added bonus of buying a bag to take home for $9!) , and another for the endless amount of food/drink options (like seriously, extensive menu of sandwiches, breakfast items, Granola flavours, hot and cold drinks... the list goes on!) Docked one star because I didn't see much in gluten free/vegan options, however I wasn't looking terribly hard as I am neither. Just, as a barista elsewhere myself, I know those options should be present and visible for those groups of people. Docked another star because the espresso is pretty weak, and I enjoy a pretty strong and rounded espresso. Not bad if you like lattes, mochas, mistos and anything with milk added. However, as an americano drinker, it was too weak for my liking.
