AMAZING food! I am gluten and dairy free and they were able to accommodate their breakfast sandwiches and lattes to my needs. The atmosphere is very homey and warm. The staff were so kind and very helpful/patient when I needed to customize my sandwiches. I definitely recommend if you’re in the area!

Black Cap Coffee is awesome! It’s definitely a wonderful addition to the beautiful walkable downtown Stowe area. They have the single greatest pastry I’ve ever had in all of Vermont - the churro bun!! Imagine a cinnamon bun, but it’s a churro! Gooey, cinnamon-y, and just pure heaven! You need to try it if they didn’t run out yet when you visit. Not only do they have an extensive list of great baked goods, many are gluten-free, dairy-free and vegetarian! You can get any of their sandwiches on gluten-free bread, and they also have a wide range of great coffees and teas. Be sure to check their seasonal drinks because they’re some of the best! Such an awesome place!
