Black+Blue

Our server and the entire wait staff were very attentive. My wife is gluten free, and each staff member who brought food to our table seemed well aware of that situation, placing the dishes appropriately and reiterating the accommodation. Seems simple, but it's not common, even in nicer restaurants. Very impressive! Our server was great at what she does. Thank you! We'll come back when in Vancouver (we're from Seattle). Oh, and the prime rib was delicious, as were the accompaniments.

We had the BEST experience at Black and Blue, thanks to our server named Sydney. I have been there about 30 times, but this time was different. This server went above and beyond for our family of 6. Her tone of voice, body language, communication made us feel not rushed. Our daughter has Celiac, and she stood next to us until ALL meals arrived, to ensure my daughter didn’t receive the wrong plate; because we all ordered the same meals. Her meal didn’t have the bread. She has set the standard high in professionalism and serving.
