Very well pleased with my first visit to Blackshop. We had The Duck confit and the Atlantic Salmon. They were very accommodating to my guest’s dietary needs of gluten free and dairy free. Our waiter Harry was excellent and had the chef adjust the sauce to be dairy free on the salmon. Thank you to the wonderful chef for our happy bellies and to Harry for being attentive to anything we needed.

Went here for the Mother’s Day brunch. Atmosphere was very nice and they had a DJ playing music. I payed the extra $20 to get the steak and eggs since there wasn’t many gluten free options. I asked for the steak to be prepared medium rare. Unfortunately it was very undercooked. Pretty disappointing. Service was pretty slow but it was busy as it was Mother’s Day. The rest of my group had the small plates (2 plates at a time limit) they seemed to enjoy it. It was $300 for the 5 of us plus tip.
