Blacksmith

Just the most delicious and quality food you'll find in town and around town. I love visiting Berlin specifically for Blacksmith. Their specials are always amazing & I know my friends/family will be satisfied there as they have a diverse menu of gluten free, vegetarian & vegan options, and carnivore creations. It's such a chic bohemian place that invites the upscale vibe with just incredible farm to table food. It's astonishing how good it is. Whenever I come I always get an appetizer, soup, entree, dessert, mocktail & coffee. It's the full experience because every aspect of the meal is a craft in itself.

Food was fabulous. The best separate vegetarian menu we've ever seen not in a vegetarian restaurant. It's rare that vegetarians have a choice. So many choices, it was really hard to choose! Server indicated she had only been there a month. She had her work cut out for her. Two vegetarians, a diabetic and a gluten sensitive person all in the same group. She did a great job. Everyone really enjoyed their meals! Would highly recommend.

Had an unfortunate time here. Only 2 options could be adjusted to be gluten-free. Waitress was less than interested in helping me understand the menu and was not thrilled to ask the chef to find out more. I was told that I could not substitute - so yes mash potatoes were safe but the meal they came with was not. The meal that did had french fries that were not safe - I couldn't swap. Finally went with the Thai Curry and it was not flavorful at all. Overall very disappointing considering the other delicious options for gf food in Berlin.
