Blackstone Steakhouse and Grill - Mississauga

We dinned her this evening and found the place to be excellent. We came straight here on the way to our hotel after a long flight and wasn’t disappointed. Eating anywhere can often be challenging due to our dairy and gluten intolerances and this was easily accommodated. Dimi, our server was amazing. She was very anttentive, friendly and made sure our intolerances were not only accommodated but made some great suggestions. It’s not so much the quiet regular steakhouse ambiance but much livelier and actually a lot more comfortable and casual feeling, I enjoyed this atmosphere as a change to the often snobby steakhouse feel.

My fiancé and I were completely delighted by our dinner at Blackstone Steakhouse last night. We called at the last minute for a reservation and were told that although they were booked for reservations they do leave 50% of the seating available for walk-in’s and we were encouraged to stop by. Considering it was Friday night at 7:00pm we felt this was a fair offer. We were welcomed by 2 very friendly staff and seated right away. I did appreciate them checking, prior to seating us, if our last minute table was sufficient for us and also letting us know they didn’t serve alcohol. They had a comprehensive mocktail list and I enjoyed the signature Colada Punch. We both ordered Tenderloin steaks that were cooked to perfection. Our server, Rajveer, was friendly, attentive and thoughtful. She actually moved us to a more comfortable table once one became available. She checked to make sure my food was prepared perfectly considering my gluten allergy and answered all questions with thoroughness. What could have made this experience better? The only thing I would comment on would be the atmosphere of the restaurant. Instead of a higher end dining vibe it felt more like a roadside pub. Just a little dingy around the edges. Loud and open seated. Sticky table tops and wobbly table legs. It’s clear there is amazing attention to the food and service. Maybe set those talents on what people see when they come in. Perception is everything. It was still an excellent experience and I would definitely recommend this restaurant to friends. We will be back for sure.
